The Nation maintains an Emergency Preparedness and Mitigation Fund (EPM Fund) which prepares the Rancheria for annual Wildland Urban Interface vegetation clearing assistance and any other mitigatable natural disaster preparedness within funding means and provides temporary assistance to all tribal citizens who have been directly impacted by a natural or manmade disaster that has forced them to relocate themselves and or their families from their primary residence either on a temporary or permanent basis.
Examples of qualifying emergencies include, mandatory evacuation issued by a local jurisdiction, loss of housing due to natural or manmade disasters such as fire, flooding, earthquake, or severe storm damage or any other qualifying disaster natural or manmade.
