Employment Assistance
Tuition Assistance
Offers financial assistance to eligible tribal citizens who are seeking higher education or vocational training assistance and who have been accepted into an accredited community college, university or technical institute.
Assistance Includes:
Higher Education:
- Tuition/Fees up to $4,700 per semester
- Books/Supplies up to $800 per semester
Vocational/Certificate:
- Tuition/fees up to $4,000.00 per semester
- Book/Supplies up to $1,500.00 per semester
GED/HSD Fee Assistance
Offers Fee assistance to eligible tribal citizens who are seeking to obtain a GED or High School diploma.
Assistance Includes:
- Fee Assistance: Will be determined on a case-to-case basis.
(Fees paid to authorizing testing facility directly, or reimbursed to the student if the facility will not accept third party payment. Receipts for reimbursement of fees must be submitted within 60 calendar days from the time the fees were incurred.)
Gainful Employment Assistance
Offers financial assistance with work attire/uniform and equipment or tool costs necessary to secure or retain full time employment, to eligible tribal citizens.
Up to $1,500.00 within a year Jan/Dec.
Assistance Includes:
Supportive Services: Equipment, Tools, Uniforms, etc.
